Welcome to Childhelp© Wings, Childhelp’s dynamic new mother/daughter group in Phoenix, Arizona. This group meets once a month. At meetings, the daughters, ages 6-16, learn about charity and giving to their less fortunate peers.
Program Goals:
The goal of Wings is to expose these young ladies to a variety of service opportunities and to foster a desire to continue to provide service within their communities as adults. The Wings Program will strive to guide our girls to make good decisions; to respect individuals and themselves without judgment; understand their gifts and how they can make a difference in our society. To be the best they can be.
Program Opportunities:
Every mother/daughter who registers for Wings will enjoy many opportunities to serve our community through activities organized by the Wings Board. These activities are designed to meet the goal of our color year by supporting Childhelp programs. No matter what age, girls learn the value and fun of sharing, caring with adults who will serve as mentors and models. All activities are designed with girls in mind to spark their interest, address community concerns, and build awareness of the world around them.
